Inspire Treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

We also offer Inspire therapy, an FDA-approved treatment for patients with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea who are unable to use CPAP.

This small device is implanted under the skin during an outpatient surgical procedure. Once implanted, the Inspire neurostimulator delivers mild stimulation to the hypoglossal nerve, which controls the muscles and movements of the tongue, to open the upper airway and improve airflow during sleep. Patients use a remote to turn on the device when they go to bed, and they can adjust their own therapy as necessary to resolve snoring and sleep apnea.

To learn more about the durable medical equipment we offer to treat sleep apnea and schedule a consultation with one of our providers at our Weatherford office, call us today at call (817) 594-9993 or request an appointment online.
